Moses Lake Airshow 2020 will be bigger and better than ever before with a current plan of 9 Aerial Performances, 50 static planes and tons fun for the entire family. Last year’s event was the first-ever Moses Lake Air Show at the Grant County International Airport with over 8,000 attendees. This two-day event is expected to bring at least 10,000 people to the heart of the Pacific Northwest on June 19 and 20, 2020. Returning acts include Mini Jet and Vicky Benzing and new this year is the Official U.S. Army special operations command parachute demonstration team, The Black Daggers.
The Grant County International Airport, formerly a military facility, owned by the Port of Moses Lake has one of the longest runways in the world measured at 13,500 feet. Until 1966, the airport was operated by the U.S. Air Force as Larson Air Force Base as a training airfield during World War II. It was also used as an alternate landing site for the NASA Space Shuttle and is utilized by the U.S Airforce and Boeing as a test facility with most of its traffic being general and military aviation.
In addition to the incredible performer’s and static planes coming to the 2020 Moses Lake Airshow, there will be many more food vendors across a wide array of cuisines, misting stations to cool off from the summer heat, a wine bar, a beer garden and shaded VIP suites with catering, more exclusive flight line seating, a classic car show, and more!
For those interested in science, technology, education, and mathematics, we will be curating an exciting STEM exhibit. This will feature interactive displays and activities focused on education and inspiration.
There will be so much to see and do at this year’s Moses Lake Airshow, you won’t want to miss out on this two-day family-friendly event. Early bird tickets go on sale April 1 - June 1, 2020, so mark your calendars!
