Vanguard Squadron is a must-see act performing at this year’s Moses Lake Airshow. The Vanguard Squadron uses only eco-friendly biofuel and has been powered by ethanol since they began flying together in 1993.
The Squadron flies across the country attending 10-15 airshow events each year promoting ethanol as the fuel of the future. The Vanguard Squadron flies a dazzling four-ship formation aerobatic airshow powered by ethanol which adds power and performance to the Squadron's aircraft without any major engine modifications.
The eco-friendly biofuel used in these aircraft don’t harm the environment, it is biodegradable and it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 86% compared to gasoline. The team has over 3,000 flight hours using 100% ethanol. The choice to use eco-friendly biofuel has introduced the Squadron to many people interested in aviation and alternative fuel solutions over the years.
We are proud to showcase Vanguard Squadron on June 19th and 20th 2020 where ethanol takes flight as America's premiere renewable fuel for flying. They are a must-see act during the 2-day family-friendly event. For more information about Vanguard Squadron visit their website to meet their aircraft and their team.
