ANNOUNCING OUR

2021 DRIVE-IN MOSES LAKE AIRSHOW!

We are so excited to announce that this year’s Moses Lake Airshow will be a DRIVE IN SHOW! After much planning and discussion, we have decided that a drive-in show is the best way to ensure the safety and comfortability of our performers, community & staff.

Due to the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, here is what we have planned so far:

  • Tickets are sold by two types of vehicle/capacity only (cars & vans - individual tickets and/or partial carload pricing will not be available.

  • Vehicle pricing includes one (1) private 24’ x 24’ parking space in rows 7-9

    • Upgrade parking spots in rows 1-6 (priced separately)

    • Sanitary facilities are available within 200’ of all parking spots.

  • Campers, motorhomes, and trailers are not permitted.

  • All vehicles over 8’ will be parked in the back rows even if you purchased premium parking (no refunds will be available). Please purchase a “Overheight Vehicle” ticket.

THIS YEAR'S TICKET PRICES

* Unfortunately, due to state and local requirements, the presence of alcohol at this year’s airshow is forbidden. Please see our Alcohol Policy to learn more.

Please also note that if you are military or elderly (over 60+), there is a 10% discount available for you.

Options to receive your discount are:

  1. Pay for your ticket at the front gate on-site and present your ID (Onsite Tickets will however be more expensive than Early Bird Tickets).

  2. Purchase tickets ahead of time from Basin Pacific Insurance's (Sponsors for Alex Harvill's Guinness World Record 2021 Jump) office and showcase your ID. Basin Pacific Insurance is located at 1025 S Pioneer Way or call them at (509) 765-4785 for more information.

We are still working very hard on planning details around this event and greatly appreciate your patience. Please be sure to keep an eye out on social, and sign up for our newsletter to get the latest updates!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the COVID-19 Protocols for this year's airshow?

Please be aware that masks will be mandatory at this event for whenever you are not in the safety of your designated parking space. We ask that you stay mindful of the presence of others and stay socially distanced when not seated in your vehicle.

What is the word on onsite food?

We absolutely encourage that you bring your own food and soft drinks (and WATER). We ask that you not bring any BBQ's, grills or cooking stoves to ensure that safety and comfortability of others around you in parking areas. We will have mobile food available for purchase. These will take form of car to car service, as we would like to avoid crowd gathering at Food Trucks. We will have more information regarding this service as we get closer to this year's airshow! Unfortunately, due to a decision made by the Port Commissioners, the consumption and presence of alcohol at this year’s airshow is forbidden. Due to the nature of this year’s airshow, we want to ensure that everyone is safe. We ask that our attendees please honour this policy, as County/State Health Officials will have the ability to shut the show down if crowds refuse to comply.

Will there be static displays?

Static displays will be available in the form of a "Drive-By" display when you enter and exit the airshow space! There will not be any walk-up availbility, but we encourage you to bring binoculars to enjoy not only the airshow acts but also the static displays. We are still working on the fine details for this attraction and appreciate your patience during this time.

Why won't there be any alcohol involved?

Unfortunately, due to a decision made by the Port Commissioners, the consumption and presence of alcohol at this year’s airshow is forbidden. Due to the nature of this year’s airshow, we want to ensure that everyone is safe. We ask that our attendees please honour this policy, as County/State Health Officials will have the ability to shut the show down if crowds refuse to comply.

Can I meet any of the performers?

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, there will be no meet & greet available at this year's airshow. We understand this may be disappointing to our attendees, but the utmost safety of both our attendees and our performers is our top priority.

What's the price strategy for this year's airshow?

We understand that the design of this year's ticketing is very different from our initial airshow.

We are doing our best to be able to even have the airshow. The County/State health departments would prefer we didn’t have a show at all!

These are not normal times and public health concerns limit us to a drive-in format which gives us a maximum 1,200 parking spots available per day.

Our 2021 price per person is $20 and a carload is $100. To compare: Abbotsford in 2019 was $28 per person and a carload was $125 + $10 per person for front line seating. If the Abbotsford show even happens in 2021, their prices will be almost double our numbers.

With a limited number of drive-in parking spots, we cannot offer individual ticket pricing and afford to put on the show. Our “Early Bird” sale offers very affordable per person rates prorated by the carload. It is your choice how many people you bring with you and whether you want to pay a premium to park in the front row.

If the Airshow will be on the 18th & 19th, what is with the 17th date?

We are glad you asked! Moses Lake's very own Alex Harvill will be attempting to break the GUINNESS World Record of the Longest Motorcycle Ramp Jump (current record 106.98 m/ 351 ft held by Robbie Maddison) at our 2021 Moses Lake Airshow on June 17th. Gates will be opening at 9:00 AM (PST) and Alex will begin his jump at 10:00 AM (PST). The record-breaking jump will need to be over 351 ft, the same length as a Football field, goal post to goal post! Basin Pacific Insurance will be sponsoring his jump this year! Alex Harvill, born 1992 in Corona California, currently resides in Ephrata Washington. Sporting 155 LBS and standing 5’6”, some of Alex’s career highlights include a world record ramp to dirt to distance jump of 425’ (May 12, 2012) in Toes Motocross Park - Royal City Washington. Find more information about Alex Harvill: https://www.moseslakeairshow.com/special-event

Do we have a schedule yet for this year's Airshow?

We are still figuring out the specifics! But you can find our rough itenary for this year's Airshow on our home page here: https://www.moseslakeairshow.com/

I am thinking of coming alone this year, what is my best deal?

Although we do encourage carpooling at this year's event to help you break up the price of the ticket, we do understand this is not a reality for everyone. These are not normal times and public health concerns limit us to a drive-in format which gives us a maximum 1,200 parking spots available per day. With a limited number of drive-in parking spots, we cannot offer individual ticket pricing and afford to put on the show. Our “Early Bird” sale offers very affordable per person rates prorated by the carload. We recommend purchasing a ticket in one of our more affordable rows (rows 7-9). Please also note that if you are military or elderly (over 60+), you are subject to a 10% discount. There are two ways you can do this, you can either pay for your ticket at the front gate on-site and present your ID (Onsite Tickets will however be more expensive then Early Bird Tickets). Or, take advantage of Early Bird Tickets and visit Basin Pacific Insurance's (Sponsors for Alex Harvill's Guinness World Record 2021 Jump) office and showcase your ID there to purchase your discounted ticket. You can find Basin Pacific Insurance at 1025 S Pioneer Way or call them at (509) 765-4785 for more information.

Can I bring my trailer, RV or motor home?

Please note that due to spacing limitations, we will not be accepting any Motor Homes, RV’s or Trailers at this year’s Moses Lake Airshow. We simply just don't have the space this year, but we hope to be more accomodating to all vehicle types at future airshows.
